Scott holds a degree in photography and has 35 years of experience in both commercial and landscape photography. He has been honored to have his photographs featured in Outdoor Photographer, Huffington Post, Landscape Photography Magazine, Nature Photographer, and many other publications. A member of the North America Nature Photography Association (NANPA), Scott’s fine art photographs have been displayed in dozens of galleries, art fairs, and juried fine art festivals, and are held in private collections worldwide. Since 2012, Scott has spent most of his free time exploring Costa Rica’s natural beauty and maintains a residence there. When not in Costa Rica, Scott resides in the Pacific Northwest, a vastly different yet equally beautiful place where he was raised. It’s Scott’s love of both locations that he loves sharing with others, and his combination of technical knowledge and easy-to-understand teaching methods make him an excellent instructor and tour leader.
