In January, the sun returns to Lofoten Islands and rises slightly above the horizon, providing the days with many hours of that beautifully soft light every landscape photographer dreams of! During the dark nights we will seek the Northern Lights – it is very likely that we will be successful during this time of year.
We will stay in traditional but modern fishing huts (Rorbuer) in the areas of Hamnøy and Sakrisøy, close to Reine, in the most southern part of Lofoten, where you can find the most attractive subjects right outside your front door. Our homepage will allow for capturing sunrise images without having to get up in the middle of the night
The Lofoten scenery is dramatic with ragged mountains rising steep from see level and beautiful beaches where one can find only photographers. Lofoten is a dream location for any landscape photographer. We are more than happy to share our knowledge with you in this northern part of Norway.
Another highlight will be the total lunar eclipse that we might be able to observe if the sky is clear.

From Friday until Wednesday we will take photos of the most beautiful landscapes from sunrise to sunset (if weather conditions permit). We will visit the famous beaches of Skagsanden, Unstad, Uttakleiv, Myrland and Haukland.
