Based in Dingle, Co. Kerry, this 5-day photo tour explores some of the best and most accessible coastal scenery in Ireland and the superb scenery surrounding the Killarney National Park and the Black Valley.

Around the Dingle Peninsula, we will visit coastal locations along the Slea Head Drive, including the iconic Dunquin Pier and Coumeenoole Strand. East of Dingle, we find the castle ruins by the shoreline at Minard and the incredible storm beach at Kinard.

During our time in Killarney, we will visit Muckross Abbey, The Old Wier Bridge and Torc Waterfall, with the chance of some autumn colour.

The Black Valley provides a wealth of rural and mountain landscapes as we cross into remote valleys on our way to visit the famous ruin of Molly’s Cottage. The Gap of Dunloe is a scenic delight as we follow this narrow pass that runs below Ireland’s highest mountains.

With the shorter days of November, we will be out for dawn and finish up following dusk each day, taking an hour’s break for lunch in Dingle or one of the other small picturesque towns in Kerry.

Photography tuition is available for absolute beginners to advanced, as well as assistance with using filters and tips for composition.

If you have the energy, there is usually a music session on in Dingle every night at one of the many pubs!
