West Cornwall Photography Tour • England November 2024 By Nigel Hicks Photo Tours

This is a photography tour covering the stunning landscapes of west Cornwall, the westernmost tip of England. Surrounded by the Atlantic Ocean, this place is known for rugged cliffs and spectacular beaches, all pounded by constant, rolling surf.

Under our professional guidance, you will have the opportunity to capture the beauty of this magnificent scenery. We will photograph not only some of the region’s iconic landscapes, such as St Michael’s Mount, Kynance Cove, and Land’s End but also a range of lesser-known places, including Gwennap Head, Porth Nanven and the Pendeen cliffs.

This region is renowned for its dark skies, so – weather permitting – we should be able to try out some night sky photography. We will also include some of west Cornwall’s famous manmade landmarks, principally the huge numbers of ruined tin mines (a UNESCO World Heritage Site), plus some of the many prehistoric ruins that litter the landscape.

This is a fabulous photographic opportunity in one of England’s most beautiful regions at a time of year when the autumn weather starts to kick in.
