Wild Encounter Safaris is a boutique 'operator' who's mission is to show you the African wildlife in its unspoiled habitats, as you have seen on NatGeo or BBC Earth films except, even better, closer and wilder. Regardless whether you are an avid photographer or a first-time visitor, you are guaranteed to experience wilderness from a slightly different angle to others. The common theme for our safaris is the focus on animal behaviour with empathy and respect for the wildlife; we do not chase after species just to ‘tick boxes’ of what we have seen. We do of course try our best to see and photograph key species in locations we visit, but first of all respect what nature brings in front of us every day.
