Salamapaja Photo Tours
Salamapaja offers landscape photography tours which mostly take place in Finnish Lapland above the Arctic Circle and run by Thomas Kast. Thomas is a professional photographer, originally from Germany. He lives in Finland in the last 20 years and is a northern lights whisperer. Being at high latitudes we have long-lasting sunsets and sunrises, providing a lot of time in moody light. During autumn we focus on colorful leaves and reflections on open water. During winter we experience magical sceneries of snow and ice. While photographing wildlife is not a priority, we will always take the time to do so, if we encounter reindeer or other animals. Tours from September to early April offer great opportunities to witness the Aurora Borealis.
