Mal Dickson Photo Tours
Mal Dickson is a photographer and guide based on the coast of west Norway - originally from Scotland but firmly settled in his adopted country. He has built up a large following worldwide on social media with his landscapes from Norway. In the past four years, his work has been exhibited in Melbourne, Amsterdam, Vancouver, Barcelona, and Vienna. In addition, his pictures are regularly featured by major tourism organizations such as Visit Norway. Mal's approach to photography involves a desire to capture and communicate the spirit of a place and how it is to be human within it. His work tries to develop a deeper appreciation of the cultural and historical context of the subjects he photographs. Mal also likes to pass on that understanding – both photography and the history and culture of the places he visits. Mal's tours concentrate on photographic composition and the cultural context of taking photographs. They are mainly aimed at beginners and intermediate-level photographers.
