If you are after photographing leopards, then search no further than this incredible Photo Safari in the world-renown Thornybush Game Reserve, open and un-fenced within the Greater Kruger National Park. With access to over 16,000 acres of traversing, you will have the opportunity to photograph in an area with some of the highest concentrations of Predators anywhere in South Africa.
Based at Marula Camp, a small and intimate private bush camp, this photo safari is without doubt one of your best chances to see and photograph the normally elusive leopard. Add to that high concentrations of lions and hyenas, along with very frequent sightings of wild dogs, this safari is action packed. Marula Camp has four beautifully appointed en-suite cottages, all with incredible bush views. The lodge also has its own waterhole hide, so any time during the day you can relax with a drink and watch the wildlife drinking from only a few metres away.
Marula Camp is a private camp and not a commercial lodge. This means we have additional benefits of not being tied down to meal times and so on, allowing us to focus on photography. So, if we need to leave the lodge earlier or stay out in the field later, we can. However, being a private camp, it does mean that there are no facilities to buy soft drinks or alcohol, you are therefore encouraged to bring your own. Free wifi is available in camp.
