This fall photography workshop is guided by one of Scotland's finest photographer's Jenny Cameron and a US based photographer Jerry T. Patterson.
This workshop will take our photography group to two main areas steeped in romantic history dating back to the early 14th century of Scotland, first the Isle of Skye and secondly Glencoe.
In the north on the Isle of Skye you have mountains that drop right into the ocean creating stunning ocean views for both sunrise and sunset. We will visit the iconic Neist Point Lighthouse, the Fairy Glen, the iconic Quirang and the Eilean Donan Castle with is accented lighted at night.
Next, we will travel down to the ever scenic highland village of Glencoe.
In the Glencoe area we will photography a cluster of mountains named the Three Sisters, the Etive Mor waterfalls with its ever present iconic Buachaille Etive Mor mountain with its pyramidal peak, one of the most photographed mountains in Scotland. After these areas we will make a short drive to two other castles with great water reflections.
Regardless of where we go, we will have dramatic cloud systems with nice breaks where the sun’s rays beam through and illuminate the foreground and the sides of mountains, castles, lakes and waterfalls. Lastly, there is a really good chance to see the famous Scotland 'coo'.
During our travels across the country we will stop at pubs and restaurants and partake in some of Scotland’s fine food and have a little time to enjoy a hot beverage.
The price of the workshop includes RT to/from airport/hotel and lodging.
