On this workshop we will explore the most beautiful western parts of Norwegian Lofoten archipelago. You will have the opportunity to discover the real spirit of Northern Norway, where the air, water and earth meet, creating incredible and unique landscapes. It is called a photographic paradise for a reason. A few places on earth offer so many, different and spectacular locations on such small area.
During 5 days and 6 nights we will travel across the islands and photograph the most scenic and famous places in Lofoten and during the night time we will be hunting and shooting the Aurora Borealis.
We will stay in a fully equipped house in Ramberg - perfect place to reach most of the locations very fast. We will work around the weather and lighting conditions. I will plan ahead each day to use the weather and aurora forecasts in the best possible way.
I have visited Lofoten multiple times already, so you can be sure that I will take you to the very best spots and places on the islands.
Autumn is a great time for visiting Lofoten, we can expect fantastic colours on the mountains, magical warm light whole day long and very often, Northern Lights dancing in the night sky. Each day we will try to catch sunrise and sunset on different locations.
As a professional photographer and your guide, I will support you during the whole trip with all my knowledge and experience in landscape and night time photography. Depending on your skills, we will try to focus on different aspects of photographic techniques and details. I will do my best to show you the beauty of Norwegian nature and guide you on how to catch the Northern Lights.
