With a backdrop of the rugged Sangre de Cristo Mountains, this four-day photography workshop in South Central Colorado will explore North America’s highest sand dunes in the San Luis Valley at 700 feet above the high elevation floor.
Under the expert guidance of travel and adventure photographer Michael DeYoung you will capture the rich warm colors and textures on the dunes that sunrise and sunset often deliver. The wide sweeping views also make for an ideal location for creating stitched panoramas.
Timed to take advantage of the fall colors along Medano Creek, Michael will provide instruction on capturing this perfect foreground with the contrasting undulating sand dunes and steep mountain peaks in the background.
