Sicily Highlights Photo Tour 2020

Sicily, Italy's most photogenic region. Sicily, the pearl of the Mediterranean, is not only the largest island in the Mediterranean, but also the one offering the most variety in terms of culture, architecture and landscape / seascape photography.

The ancient Greek and Roman monuments are amongst the world’s most beautiful. Discover Byzantine, Norman, Arabic, medieval and baroque treasures in each of the cities, towns and small hamlets we will visit.

The landscapes and seascapes are captivating, ranging from the majestic Mt. Etna, Europe’s largest and most active volcano, to the sleepy island of Favignana with its gorgeous seascapes. Sicily is definitely one of the most amazing and varied destinations for a photography trip in Europe.

The Sicily Highlights Photography Holiday will take you around the island, showcasing the best the island has to offer including Catania with its lively squares and fish market; the baroque city centres of Syracuse’s Ortigia and Noto; the world’s best-preserved Greek temples in Agrigento and Segesta; the quaint fisherman’s ports of Marzamemi, Porticello and Castellamare; the unique salt pans of Marsala; the picture-perfect hilltop towns of Erice, Petralia Sopano, Castelbuono; and the treasures of Palermo, Monreale and Cefalù.

This all makes for a program packed with opportunities for street, culture, cityscape, landscape and seascape photography. We will take you to Sicily’s most stunning locations at the right time for the best light.
