This is a 4-days photo tour with experienced photo guides. Travel with friendly people, discover the best photographic spots during the lavender blooming season, enjoy local food and lifestyle, and bring home unforgettable memories and pictures!
We will take you to the most spectacular lavender fields in the area! We know the best locations for photographing lavender: over 80 spots from which we will choose the most exciting and least crowded!
This is a journey from the Verdon gorges to the ancient villages and abbeys, crossing and plunging into the marvellous lavender fields in bloom.
Provence is famous for its landscape, characterized by the cultivation of lavender, which fills the rolling hills with geometries and colors, making this area a paradise for landscape photographers. But Provence offers much more than this: an incredibly varied landscape where we find the famous Verdon gorges, a river that over time has carved a narrow and deep canyon: from 250 to 700 meters deep, with a width that goes from 6 to 100 meters at the level of the Verdon river and from 200 to 1500 meters at the top of the gorge.
We will also explore the fascinating Ocre of Roussillon trail, a pleasant path that winds through a pine forest and colorful rock formations reminiscing of Colorado in the United States.
We will walk in charming medieval villages, visit the companies where lavender-based products are produced, and spend quiet nights among the lavender plants to photograph the stars and the Milky Way.
The chosen period will allow us to photograph the starry sky and offers excellent light conditions during sunrise and sunset.
The program has been planned in great detail to avoid long transfers and always stay close to the locations chosen for capturing sunrise and sunset images.
