This is epic Alaska! From Anchorage to Lake Clark National Park and Seward to the Kenai Fjords National Park. This photography workshop has it all, from bears, orcas, sea lions and other marine life to wildflowers, glaciers and grand mountainscapes.
Veteran Alaska photographer Michael DeYoung will offer you a photographic experience unlike any other in Alaska. In addition to guiding you to pristine Alaska landscapes, Michael and Arizona Highways PhotoScapes have arranged for four separate private outfitter guided excursions.
The first guided photo adventure includes a float plane trip to Redoubt Bay to photograph grizzlies and their cubs. This area boasts one of the most dense populations of brown bears in the state.
Next is a helicopter ride into the Backcountry Safari Camp at Bear Glacier Lake where you can kayak, hike and photograph glaciers up close. There is plenty of wildlife to capture along the way.
You will also enjoy two separate full day private boat charters, one in Resurrection Bay to photograph glaciers, orcas, humpbacks, seals, otters, sea lions and many sea birds and the other in Prince William Sound.
When not assisting you in the field, Michael will spend time critiquing image captures to ensure you will take home a portfolio from the best of Alaska.
