The ultimate Kosciuszko Photography Tour experience. Our Kosciuszko Photo Tour is set in the Long Plain area of Kosciuszko National Park. This is a 5 night / 6 day tour which departs on a Monday morning from Hunter and Sydney and returns to Sydney and Hunter the following Saturday afternoon.
This is not a photography course but a guided photography tour with John Lechner as your personal photography coach and guide. It is ideal to have a basic knowledge of photography before joining the Kosciuszko photo tour. If you would like to learn more about photography, then it is advised to join our weekend course first.
During our photo tour we will camp in some stunning camp-grounds and photograph many beautiful locations including alpine huts, waterfalls, deep waterholes, historic homesteads, gorges and wildlife such as Brumbies and Kangaroos.
We have added to the tour a visit to the Yarrangobilly Caves and Hot Spring Pool on the penultimate day. The plan is to take in some cave tours in the morning, before retiring to the hot spring pool in the afternoon for some rest and relaxation.
For those into star photography, John will do a specialised astro photography session one night along the tour.
The tour will include a couple of walks about 6kms of moderate intensity, so a basic level of fitness is advised. Transport, meals, drinks and camping equipment are provided, tour places are limited to 6 people.
